Process X

Process X is a collaboration with the Malaysian musician Bayangan. The interactive installation engaged with the idea of numbers as a universal language, utilising them as a communication tool between different forms of media. It was exhibited in 2021 at Now&Them in Shanghai’s M50 art district.

A limited edition of 50 7-inch clear vinyls were produced, containing Bayangan’s “Timur Laut / Barat Daya” and access to programme. The records are encased between two layers of transparent sleeves which feature particles taken from the installation. The covers were screen printed by Celcea Tifani at PNPRESS in Shanghai.
